The Mooto X Rigor is the result of working with big wheeled mountain bikes for over 10 years. Its geometry is refined to the point where balance, speed and versatility all come together to deliver a race-ready ride built for both speed and fun.
Built for serious cross country MTB Racing, the Mooto X RSL was developed with the same principles that guided the design of our Vamoots RSL; from the ground up, design and build the finest performing 29” titanium cross country race bike available with zero compromise to the longstanding Moots quality and lifetime durability.
This is our most popular mountain bike, for good reason. Taking what we have learned in refining the YBB soft tail designed mountain bike for over the last 20 years and adding the platform of 29” wheels has created a dream cross country combination.
Our most advanced mountain bike to date, the MX Divide is a light, appropriately stiff and well-balanced 29” cross-country race and recreation bike that incorporates the best features of today’s proven suspension technology into our own Fusion Link platform.
This bike brought home the award for the Best Cyclocross Bike at the 2012 NAHBS in Sacramento, CA. Our passion for the sport and all things cycling truly spills over into our product. The PSYCHLO X RSL is a culmination of Moots team work both on the course and in the shop.
Following closely in the footsteps of the Vamoots RSL and Mooto X RSL, this frame was designed to make it the leader in its class.
Our overall objective was to build the lightest and stiffest, high-performance titanium cyclocross bike available to racers today. And to do it without compromising the unique Moots ride quality or lifetime durability.
Pure and simple sums up the Rigormootis. A traditional hard tail design with modern day features. For the cross country purist that wants a hassle free no holds barred performance frame ride after ride.
The legendary yet subtle YBB is joined to the mid-wheel size platform to bring cross country riding to a new level. For those that are not thrilled or cannot fit onto a 29 platform, we have the perfect answer for your needs.
Just enough travel to take the edge off (1 1/8”) and paired with the 27.5” diameter this is a single track eating machine.
Gravel, dirt-road and double track-exploring-longer touring-44mm tire clearance. More Choices, More Fun-Building off the Routt, we added longer chain stays to provide a stable platform and the compatibility for 45mm wide tires, opening the door to more and more mixed-surface miles.
Since Moots first introduced rear suspension to the mountain biking world in 1988, the YBB has been an institution unto itself. First crafted in steel, the YBB then found its permanent home in titanium in 1991.
